A Tween Vogue Session

So many parents are great when it comes to having their children's portraits taken when they are babies, and then maybe at 2 or 3 years old. But so often, after the kids get a little older, parents forget that the tween years are also a perfect time for a portrait session. Now granted, it has to be a bit "cooler" session than when they were babies and thats why we created Vogue Kids! A perfect blend of today's styles and colors, yet classicly lit and refined.

We wanted to share a few images with you from a recent Vogue Kids session we did with this young lady. I must say, I have never met someone you had such an effortless gaze into the camera. What a great time we had and I believe we came away with some awesome portraits too! Enjoy!

Lillian -12 months

It's always bittersweet when one of our babies graduates from one of our Baby Ensembles. Today is no exception. This little girl is the third child we have photographed for this family. Lillian gave us about 5 minutes before she was ready to leave. After that, she decided she was 1 and it was time to move on with her life! :) Enjoy!

Audrey is in one of our Baby Ensembles programs. In planning the session, her mom had asked that we do something with a vintage look to it, but staying true to our style, I wanted to make sure that the set wasn't TOO busy and that Audrey remained the subject of the portrait. I loved the results and wanted to share a few of the images with you.

Executive Portraits

This wonderful lady came to us a few weeks ago wanting to have an Executive Portrait done for the Daughters of the American Revolution. Phyllis didn't know exactly what she wanted, but she knew she didn't want the "same ole, same ole" head and shoulders Exective Portrait. So we sat down and designed the session and we are proud to present the results of her session. I get so excited when I get to share a painting that Connie has just completed. Today is no exception. We were so honored when Judy Rogers commissioned Connie to paint a portrait of her daughter Katherine with her grandson Weston. I love everything about this portrait - the pose, the colors, the softness and the expression on Katherine's face just tells the world how proud she is of her little baby boy.
